Physical Description: On her clothing style, she tends to wear whatever is comfortable, not really caring what people think of what she wears Over the years, Jubilee has refined her tastes in clothing but she is still known to wear her trademark yellow trenchcoat from time to time. She wears her hair in ponytails, seldomly letting it hang down past her shoulders. She is not really known to wear much makeup and her friends have given up on getting her to try to wear any at all.
Personality: Jubilee is a very bubbly girl with a great personality. Sometimes though it can just hurt to be her. She is always there for her friends though when the going gets rough. Psychologically, she is very stable and tends to help others more than herself. She could really care less what happens to her as long as the others around her are safe. She also lets her determination harbor her sometimes in holding her back from what she really wants out of life.
Powers: Jubilee has the mutant power to generate bright bursts of multi-colored energy plasmoids from her fingertips. She has been known to refer to them as fireworks and they are known to obey her mental control, traveling where she would direct them, arranging themselves in balls, streamers, and other shapes, and exploding when she wishes them to do so. Jubilee can also absorb the fireworks back into her own body without harm.
Jubilee often refers to her powers as "pafs."
As referenced by by one of the resident psychics, Jubilee has the untapped potential to detonate matter at a sub-atomic level, which in theory is the equivalent of a fusion bomb.
Jubilee also has been known to display an apparent immunity to telepathic invasion and probing, though not necessary telepathic attacks. She has had on occasion used this ability to hide herself from telepathic scans and probes from Sentinels. Whether or not she knows of this ability has yet to be determined.
Weaknesses: When driven over the edge, such as losing a friend Jubilee can lose control of her abilities over fireworks and cause explosions to happen which is never a good thing.
She cannot really be around vats of explosive material because she tends to even set those off. She has had control over her powers in the past but due to her getting her powers back recently, she is learning how to control them all over again.
Skills: Jubilee is a talented gymnast and rollerblade skater. While living on the streets, she used her skills to evade capture while stealing to survive. She has also been known to display above average hand-to-hand combat skills, having learned street-fighting techniques while in Los Angeles County Juvenile Hall, and being coached further by one of her friends.
Equipment/Weaponry: Now that she has gotten her degree in Journalism, she is always carrying around a knapsack filled with paper, pens, and her camera just in case she comes across her 'next big story'.

History: Jubilee is a Chinese-American girl, was born in Beverly Hills, California, where she lived with her wealthy immigrant parents. However, her life was destroyed when her parents were murdered by two hit men.
Jubilee was sent to an orphanage, but she ran away and hid in a Hollywood shopping mall, stealing food to survive. When she discovered her mutant powers to create energy "fireworks," she realized she could earn money by using her powers to entertain customers in the mall.
Jubilee was discovered by Professor Xavier, who welcomed the girl with open arms.
Jubilee has found a home with the X-Men in the past but was introduced to a new team called Generation X. Upon its disbandment, she rejoined the X-Men for a short time before leaving to go to college. Upon getting her degree in Journalism, Jubilee received a job offer at one of the News Offices covering a story called the Mutant Diaries.
When her powers expanded, she returned to the X-Mansion for more guidance and was later told about a new team of Generation X being put together. She wasn't totally against the idea but was surprised when she was chosen to fill in as co-mentor to the group, much like Emma Frost and Sean Cassidy were to her team. To this day she is still a mentor to the new team of Generation X while retaining her membership with the X-Men as a reserve team member.
Sample RP: It had been eight days since the attack on Weapon X. Jubilee had returned to the school and had gone on the camping trip. She thought it was too soon to go anywhere after her time at Weapon X but she went anyway. Her behavior had not gone unnoticed. She knew some of the kids had noticed that the usual upbeat girl was clearly not herself.
Walking down the stairs, she passed a kid who stopped her saying that there was a piece of mail for her. Furrowing her eyebrows, she took the envelope and looked at it. Who would know that she was at the school? Sure, she told the other mutants that escaped from Weapon X about the school...but who else could possibly know about it?
Opening the envelope, she frowned a little and read it to only find the time, date, and address on it. She knew the address. It was a restaurant on the high end of New York. Biting her lip and thinking back to the time she was at another restaurant like this, she could only think about her blowing half of it up.
Shaking her head and stuffing the card back into the envelope, she looked out the window in the front foyer. She knew she should tell the teachers..especially after the last incident that occurred with her disappearance...but what if it was one of the Weapon Xers trying to get ahold of her?
Taking a deep breath, she collected herself and ran up to the room she shared with Terry. After changing into one of the dresses she that Leyu bought her during their shopping trip, she looked at herself in the mirror. It was a black dress that accentuated her figure nicely but also hid the cuts that still scarred her body.
Thankful for that, she grabbed the shawl that went with it and after fixing her hair up so that parts of it curled around her face, she made her way out of the school.
Arriving at the restaurant a couple hours later, she stepped out of the car and looked around clutching the small purse she had in her hand tightly. Surveying the outside of the restaurant, she didn't see any threats whatsoever.
Taking in a deep breath and walking into the restaurant, she paused at the podium and showed the person standing behind it her 'invitation' and followed him to the table that Shiro was seated at. Pausing and seeing Shiro at the table, she nodded her thanks to the man as he seated her and watched him leave.
Looking back to Shiro, Jubilee arched an eyebrow. "Well, this is a change. Why all the formality of inviting me here Shiro?" Unfolding her napkin and settling it in her lap, it appeared that the young lady that Shiro knew from the school had changed. Her demeanor seemed to be more formal and careful.
Looking back to him, she tilted her head "Thank you for getting us out of that...place." Saying that, she thought to get it out of the way, as she waited for him to say something.
