Real Name: Hope Summers
Code Name: None Yet
Faction: Generation X
Date of Birth: November 21
Height: 5 feel 5 inches
Weight: 115 pounds
Physical Description: Hope has a fair complexion and a normal build. In theory Hope looks like a younger version of Jean Grey only she's not Jean. Now a seventeen-year-old girl Hope didn't have any clothes as her previous clothes were meant for a young baby. But after being mentored by Scott Summers she now wears the latest fashion for young teenagers from shirts, to jumpers, and jeans however she doesn't tend to wear dresses or skirts.
It is unknown why at this moment, but during her time in the with Generation X, Hope wears a dark green body suit with a golden-colored pattern in a "V" shape, her shoulders are protected by armored shoulder pads and armored wrist guards which sit over her arms She also wears boots with some armor which sit above the top of the boots. And finally she wears a long brown cloak that can easily cover her entire body.
Personality: Hope is a person who lives life to the fullest. She is also a typical teenager who can be stubborn sometimes, but deep down Hope is someone who just wants to survive. Although this is the case Hope does find it hard to trust anyone else other then herself and Cable; therefore she keeps her feelings to herself. Even though Hope knows of Good and Evil all she just wants is to live and survive in a world filled with chaos and Hope itself. And she is stubborn sometimes and will fight with all her might to help protect herself even if it meant fighting against some of Earth's most powerful mutants. Either Hope doesn’t have some compassion, but yet she does have a short temper. Hope would do anything to protect her father even if it meant unleashing all the power she’s got in her body, Hope coped well being alone away from anyone she knew, despite being someone who only relied on herself and no one else she does have a good heart and will help anyone out whom she call her friends.
However when confronted by enemies she does all she can to survive and listens well to orders. More then ever she respects and loves her adopted father and finds friends in X-23 and Elixir, as for being the so called Mutant Messiah and possible destroyer of both humanity and mutant-kind Hope doesn’t care about the so called prophecy foretold by the surviving mutants. All she does care about is her family, friends and to survive in a world where some wanted to destroy her while other wanted to simply worship her, Hope doesn’t exactly hate those what wanted to destroy. She simply doesn’t understand as to why they wanted to kill her in the first place. Although she thinks about these things Hope don’t have an idea at all that the signs of the Phoenix Force appeared in her eyes when she was just a baby. Hope has come to learn and respect others and their efforts to make a world where both human and mutant could co exist. Deep down she just a normal teenager who is strong willed, courageous, brave and also stubborn just like her father.
Powers: Empathic Power Mimicry: The true extent of Hope's powers was partly revealed after Cable's sacrifice. It seems that now Hope has the power to mimic any kind of mutant power from the optic blast of Cyclops, to the steel and superhuman strength of Colossus, the nearly indestructible armor of Armour, the power of nature from Storm the coldness of Iceman, Magma and many more if she wanted to. The range of this power is unknown but sources say it could be at any point around the Earth itself.
It is undetermined whether this is Hope's true mutant ability. Or whether or not that Hope could have all the powers of every single mutant on Earth. Hope's skin is completely immune to Rogue's mutant ability to absorb the energy from people AKA absorbing a mutants powers. A simple touch allowed Rogue to be cured of a deadly virus. It is unknown if she could cure any other deadly diseases but only time will tell. She does have some kind of connection to the Phoenix Force but it is unknown at this time what type of connection it is.
Weaknesses: Various types of gases like knockout gas or sleeping gas can make her unconscious or a well placed shot from a tranquillizer dart can put her to sleep, and even those that are of heavy weights can put pressure on her telekinesis strength and mind. Hope doesn’t know how much weight she can lift with her telekinesis but it’s strong enough to stop a bullet in mid air. Also physic blocks in other mutants minds can stop Hope from either sensing their presence or from reading their minds. If need be Hope will put her very life in danger and push her very body to the limit to help her friends, this will either kill her or make her easy prey to be captured or killed by the enemy. If for some reason Hope is injured in battle her focus and mind would be more on surviving rather then use her powers. If she did use her powers then it wouldn’t be at full strength again giving others a chance to do either kill, feast or capture Hope for their own purposes.
Sometimes her powers are based on emotions and would awaken when it dire trouble or in pure anger. But other times it will respond to her very wishes, this troubles Hope a little as she again has little experience in actually using her powers. If Hope was able to stop the Three and One and Cerebra from tracking her location then its possible that could do the very same for other Physics like Cable from trying to find her. This could cause her to not have any back up from allies and can be easy prey for ambushes and stop help from arriving, There also other mutants and special equipment to temporarily either render physics unconscious. And there are also mutants that has the ability to block mutant powers, although not tested on Hope there is a great chance that this could stop her as well.
Finally her power levels are incredibly high but can't be properly controlled. Therefore she could be very dangerous for people around her in case her powers emerge. Although she can "Mimic" powers of various mutants or if she has every single mutant power in human history Hope can't copy those that uses technology, and no matter who powerful she is Hope can't copy the powers of the gods like the ancient gods of Themiscrya.
Skills: Besides her powers, she is very excellent at hand-to-hand combat, having trained alongside Nathan while growing up.
Equipment/Weaponry: Hope is known to carry several guns and other ammunition when she travels.
Known Relatives: Nathan Summers (Adoptive Father), Hope Summers (Adoptive Mother - Deceased), Scott Summers (Somewhat of a guardian), Jubilation Lee (Mentor), Anna Marie (Mentor)
History: Hope was the first new mutant born since the Decimation. But she was born within the very future were Cable lived. The moment she was born, Cerebra blew up and the Purifiers, who had used information given from the time-traveling Sentinel Nimrod warning them of her arrival, soon attacked the town. Although the Purifiers murdered all the children in town, Cable managed to save her. According to him, the baby was the messiah supposed to save both mutant and humankind. However, according to the Purifiers and Bishop, she would become the equivalent to the Antichrist and kill a million humans in six minutes, turning humanity against mutants once again, thus leading into a new era of mutant persecution, the very time line in which Bishop was born.
The baby was later kidnapped by the Marauders and delivered to Mister Sinister, actually Mystique in disguise. She took the baby and made her touch the comatose Rogue. Gambit quickly took her away from Mystique, believing that she just killed her but he was amazed to see that the baby was alright and that it even cured Rogue. After a huge battle between the Marauders, X-Men, and Predator X, Cyclops decided that the baby would be better off with Cable, and allowed his son to take her to the future. However, an adamant Bishop decided to track Cable and the baby in order to finally kill her and prevent his future from happening.
Upon jumping into the future, Cable took her to the secluded safe haven of New Liberty in the future, where Cable married a fellow civilian named Hope, who became like a mother to the mutant baby. Years passed, since his last battle with Bishop damaged his time machine, Cable could only jump forward in time. She was now seven years old. But then New Liberty was invaded by humanoid insects who called themselves the United States Army. Cable fought them and left New Liberty with his wife and Hope in order to make sure New Liberty didn't fall. After spending months in the wasteland, the family was attacked by the president of the insects, whom Hope managed to save her family from by stabbing the insect in his weak spot, since she had been watching Cable fight. Cable questioned the president where he found out that Bishop, in order to find Hope in the future, had destroyed all the continents in the world, except North America, in order to easily find her and kill her. Cable killed the president, and the family moved on. The family encountered a settlement, but was met with resistance. Cable took care of them easily, but not fast enough, as her mother was shot and died in Cable's arms while she watched. Hope saw Cable bury her mother and departed with him. After arriving at a church, the pastor asked the name of the child. In that moment, Cable decided to name her Hope Summers, in honor of her adoptive mother.
Hope became the center of conflict between Cable, Stryfe, and X-Force. Stryfe who was working with Bishop kidnapped Hope. She watched as Stryfe tortured Proudstar until Cable, Wolverine, and Elixir came to their rescue. In the following fight she survived along with the rest of the X-Force and Cable with Bishop losing an eye to Wolverine and having his time travel device damaged. When Cable and Hope were forced to time travel again, Hope resisted because she wanted to stay with X-23 and Elixir, with whom she had bonded during the War.That caused her to kick Cable in mid jump stranding herself and Cable two years apart from each other.
Hope fled the rubble of Stryfe's Celestial City and befriended Emil, the descendant of Stryfe's warriors, Stryfe troopers. Hope survived for two years, with the help of Emil, until rejoining Cable and fleeing Earth on the second last spaceship on the planet, the Ensahabnur I, which Cable commandeered posing as Stryfe. Hope was devastated at being forced to leave Emil, the boy she loved.
At some point during their journey Hope accidentally betrayed Cable and he was imprisoned. Bishop and Emil eventually caught up to Cable and Hope, Emil under the impression that Cable had kidnapped Hope and Bishop was her true father, Bishop was also armed with a thermo-nuclear device which he planned to activate as soon as he saw Hope. While Bishop and Emil raided the Ensahabnur I, Emil and Hope were reunited and Hope explained to Emil that Bishop was in fact trying to kill her.
During Bishop's invasion the Brood, attracted to Hope's power, attacked both ships, distracting Bishop from Hope. While Cable and Bishop both fought the Brood Hope and Emil made their way to the ship's two Terra-forming pods, which would facilitate their escape. Emil placed Hope in the pod against her will as she refused to leave Cable. As Emil was preparing the second pod Cable appeared and Emil gave the second pod to Cable, sacrificing his own life. Two and half years later Hope now a sixteen year old woke up and discovered her pod was traveling on a collision course back to Earth, luckily Hope averted it and saved not only her own life but her fathers.
Soon they were once again trying to outwit Cable's arch nemesis Bishop. Eventually Hope went back through time to the present day to meet Cyclops and the X-Men. A few days and weeks later Hope found herself in the middle of a great war, it was the X-Men and mutant-kind against Bastion and his Nimrod Army. Many fellow brothers and sisters in battle were killed and severely injured as they all followed two simple rules" Fight or Die". And " The Protection of Hope Summers". Even Magneto and some of his Brotherhood joined in the protection of Hope. Before the war began Cyclops sent a team involving Hope's adopted father Cable into the future for a mission which was suicide, they eventually succeed but with Cable's noble sacrifice his other team members got back safely to the present.
Saddened by her fathers death Hope finally unleashed her true powers and defeated Bastion and his final two henchmen. And to the awe of the X-Men and Mutant-kind Hope revealed herself as a teenager with incredible abilities and a connection to the Phoenix Force. And had partly fulfilled her destiny as the Mutant Messiah.
As of now, they have formed the new team of Generation X where Hope an the others are learning to hone their abilities and also have become a reserve team for the X-Men.
Sample RP: New York city commonly known as the Big Apple continued to reveal its pride and glory to its citizens. The streets were filled with the brim as the lives of thousands of people went on like a snake crawling threw some grass, somewhere deep inside the serenity and beauty of Central Park the birds happily chirped as it welcomed the sunshine which shone down its rays of joy upon the world of men. The clouds were like white fluffy ships as they sailed across the ocean sky, down on the ground below ducks quacked as they enjoyed the peaceful harmony of the park, even man's best friend was enjoying the scenery as dogs were happily given the freedom to play with their masters or mistresses in peace.
The lake stood as calm as the very air itself as it revealed its everlasting purity and the mirror reflection of those that stare into its gentle nature. All was at peace in the world, but not everyone was truly at peace. Sitting near the river bank was a young girl with long flowing red hair and green eyes, this girl had everything taken away from her from the love and wisdom of a mothers love, to the comfort and good times of a fathers company. This girl was indeed Hope Summers, the adopted daughter of the mega known as Cyclops, AKA Scott Summers. It is quite uncanny but Hope had the looks of a person that Scott Summers once knew, and yet Hope was different.
No one knew why Hope was taken away from her parents. But it was revealed that Hope was a very powerful Mega and it was because of her that Mister Sinister was defeated and his entire lab was destroyed, however since that fateful day she had not spoken even once not even to her adopted father Scott Summers. Despite this Hope was a child filled with compassion and deep down she loved her father Scott with all her heart but her emotions had been cemented over by bricks of fear and loneliness. Wearing just a white shirt and jeans Hope simply sighed as she sat near the waters edge with her legs gently dangling in mid air.
Her thoughts were jumbled and her memories had spread themselves out all across her mind. And slowly she was merely trying to clean up the mess inside her head, it was hard to tell what was going threw her mind. Still she knew only one thing that stayed with her since that day...survival. Today she simply decided to go for a walk and collect her thoughts. But what Hope didn't know was that she now has a sister, an adopted sister.
Slowly her eyes gazed down into the water below as she saw a young duck and her little ducklings as they did their best to stay beside their beautiful mother. Hope's eyes continued to follow them as she thought what it would have been like to have the love of a mother and father.
